The checker validates prefixes, ISO 3166 country and region codes, reserved address space, and CSV structure. It is the same engine Ipregistry uses to ingest geofeeds.

What is a geofeed?

A geofeed is a CSV file, standardized by RFC 8805, that lets network operators publish the geographic location of their IP prefixes. Geolocation providers like Ipregistry consume geofeeds to correct and refine their datasets. Learn how to set one up in our geofeed guide, and share yours through our data corrections page.
